TechSales with Gmail and Microsoft 365

Connect your own Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account to send a reply from your real mailbox and let TechSales see the meetings on your calendar. Campaigns never go out through it.

    In short

    • Connected with OAuth under Mailbox and calendar: Google Workspace / Gmail or Microsoft 365 / Outlook.
    • Permissions are the minimum: send mail and read calendar events. TechSales does not read your inbox.
    • Sending is limited to replies a person clicks send on, to a lead who has already written to you, at most 100 per mailbox per day.
    • Calendars are read every 15 minutes; when a lead is an attendee on a meeting, the lead moves to Meeting Booked.

    Set it up

    1. In TechSales, open Settings and find Mailbox and calendar.
    2. Choose Connect Google or Connect Microsoft 365 and sign in with your work account.
    3. Approve the two permissions: sending mail, and reading calendar events.

What it does and does not do

    Gmail and Microsoft 365
    DoesDoes not
MailSends a reply you click send on, from your own address, threaded on GmailRead your inbox, send campaigns, send on Autopilot
CalendarReads events 14 days back to 45 days ahead, every 15 minutesCreate or change events in your calendar
StagesMoves a lead in Follow up Question, Interested or Meeting Requested to Meeting Booked when they are an attendeeGuess attendees by name; matching is by exact email

Why so narrow: Google's policy does not allow commercial mail to people who did not ask for it through a connected Gmail app. Cold campaigns go through your sending tools (Instantly, Smartlead, HeyReach); your own mailbox is for the conversation once someone has replied.

    Microsoft 365 notes

Microsoft 365 works the same way. One difference: Microsoft Graph does not let TechSales set the reply-to header, so on the prospect's side a reply sent from Outlook may open a new thread instead of joining the old one.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I send cold campaigns through my Gmail?
No. Campaigns go through Instantly, Smartlead or HeyReach. A connected mailbox only sends replies to people who wrote to you first.
Does TechSales add meetings to my calendar?
No. It reads your calendar to detect booked meetings. Booking through Calendly is covered on the Calendly page.
What does TechSales see in my calendar?
Events from 14 days ago to 45 days ahead, used to match attendees to leads by email.
