    TechSales and HubSpot

HubSpot stays your CRM. TechSales keeps your customers and open deals out of cold outreach, and creates the contact and deal in HubSpot when a lead books a meeting.

    In short

    • Connect with a HubSpot service key (a pat- token); a legacy private app token also works. There is no OAuth step.
    • Exclude existing HubSpot contacts: nightly, contacts and company domains from the lifecycle stages you choose, or on open deals, go onto Do Not Contact.
    • Push leads to HubSpot: when a lead reaches Meeting Booked or a qualified stage, TechSales creates a contact and a deal, mapped to your pipeline stages.
    • Deal values are read back hourly, and HubSpot contacts can be imported as a list.
    • Both sync options are off until you switch them on.

    Set it up

    1. In HubSpot, go to Development, Keys, Service Keys and create a key (format pat-…). A legacy private app token works too.
    2. In TechSales, open Settings, Connections and choose Connect HubSpot. Paste the key into Service key.
    3. Switch on what you want: Exclude existing HubSpot contacts, Push leads to HubSpot, or both. Pick the lifecycle stages to exclude and map TechSales stages to your deal stages.

    What moves in which direction

    HubSpot sync
    DirectionWhatWhen
HubSpot → TechSalesContacts and company domains in chosen lifecycle stages (Customer, Opportunity, SQL…) or on open deals, into Do Not ContactNightly, or Sync now
HubSpot → TechSalesCustomers (lifecycle customer or closed-won deal) into Company IntelligenceNightly
HubSpot → TechSalesDeal values, without overwriting a value someone typedHourly
HubSpot → TechSalesContacts imported as a list, skipping people at customer companiesWhen you import
TechSales → HubSpotA contact (email, first and last name, company) and a deal named after the lead and companyWhen a lead reaches Meeting Booked or a qualified stage; checked every 10 minutes

Deals created by TechSales only move forward. TechSales does not write notes, emails or activities to HubSpot timelines.

    Why suppression matters

Cold-emailing an existing customer, or someone your account executive is already negotiating with, costs more than the meeting it might book. Newly found customers are also stopped in campaigns that are already running, and Do Not Contact is pushed to your email sending tool's block list.

    Frequently asked questions

    Does TechSales replace HubSpot?
No. HubSpot remains the system of record; TechSales runs outbound and hands over leads once a meeting is booked.
Can I choose which HubSpot contacts are excluded?
Yes. Limit it to chosen lifecycle stages, contacts on open deals, or both.
    Is Salesforce supported?
Not today. HubSpot is the only CRM with a live integration.
