Guides
Outbound questions, answered directly.
Short guides to the questions B2B teams ask before and during outbound: how much to send, how to keep a domain healthy, how to clean a list, how to run email and LinkedIn together and how fast to answer. Each starts with the answer.
In short
- Every guide opens with a two-to-three sentence answer, then the detail.
- Numbers come from the providers' own published rules (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, LinkedIn), linked on each page.
- Where a guide describes TechSales, it says what the product actually does today.
- Longer Turkish guides live under Rehberler.
- How to run LinkedIn and email outreach in one sequenceDecide per person which channel they get, put both channels on one timeline, and stop the other channel the moment someone replies. The hard part is not writing the steps but keeping two tools in sync, so nobody gets a LinkedIn message after they answered your email.
- How many cold emails per mailbox per day?Far fewer than the provider allows. Google Workspace caps a user at 2,000 messages a day and Microsoft 365 at 10,000 recipients a day, but those are anti-abuse ceilings, not targets for cold email. Keep each mailbox at a modest daily volume that its warm-up supports, and add mailboxes on separate domains to grow, rather than pushing one mailbox harder.
- Cold email deliverability checklist: SPF, DKIM, DMARC and moreAuthenticate every sending domain with SPF and DKIM, publish a DMARC policy (p=none is the minimum), keep complaints under 0.3% and bounces low by verifying every address, and honour opt-outs quickly. Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook.com now require most of this from anyone sending at volume.
- How to warm up a new domain for cold emailAuthenticate the domain first, then let each new mailbox build a sending history for a few weeks with low, gradually rising volume before any cold campaign, and keep a warm-up running alongside. Increase cold volume only while bounces and complaints stay low.
- How to clean a B2B lead list before cold outreachFix names and company names, remove rows that are not people, verify every email, take out existing customers and anyone you already contacted, and split what is left into groups you can write one message to. Keep removed rows in folders with a reason rather than deleting them.
- How to write a cold email in TurkishOpen with the first name plus Bey or Hanım ('Merhaba Ayşe Hanım,'), use the formal 'siz' throughout, keep it short and indirect, and end by asking whether the topic is relevant rather than with a calendar link. Write in Turkish from the start instead of translating English copy.
- LinkedIn connection request limits in 2026LinkedIn does not publish a number. Its help centre says invitation limits exist to keep requests relevant, that reaching the limit usually restricts you for about a week, and that withdrawing pending invitations does not lift the restriction. Treat any number you read as an observation, send to people likely to accept, and spread volume over several sender accounts.
- What is an AI SDR, and when does it work?An AI SDR is software that does parts of a sales development rep's job: building lists, writing outreach, sending it and handling replies. It works when it runs inside clear limits on proven messages and clean data, with a person deciding what it may start on its own; it fails when it is used to send more of an untested message to an unverified list.
- How fast should you answer a positive reply? The same working day, ideally within a few hours. Someone who replied with interest is thinking about the topic now; a slow answer lets the moment pass. Answer the question they asked, offer two concrete times, and stop any remaining steps in your sequence.
- Catch-all emails: what they are and whether to send to themA catch-all domain accepts mail for any address, so a normal verifier cannot tell whether a specific person exists there. Run a second check with a verifier built for catch-all servers, send to the ones it confirms, and keep the rest out of the first send or reach those people on another channel.
- How to keep existing customers out of cold outreachCheck every list against your CRM before sending: remove contacts and company domains in customer and open-deal stages, everyone on your Do Not Contact list, and people already contacted elsewhere. Repeat the check at launch, because the CRM changes while a list waits.
