Apify runs the LinkedIn data jobs behind TechSales: people search, profile enrichment, activity checks, post engagers, hiring and job changes. Bring your own Apify token, or use TechSales credits.
In short
- Connecting your own Apify token is optional; without it, runs use TechSales credits.
- Used for LinkedIn people search, profile enrichment, checking whether someone is active, people who reacted to or commented on a post, people at a company, job listings and recent posts.
- LinkedIn activity feeds Route by channel; job changes and hiring feed Signals.
- Job-change tracking and hiring signals need your own Apify token.

Set it up
- In Apify, copy your API token from Settings, API & Integrations.
- In TechSales, open Settings, then Connections. In the Integrations card, paste the key into the Apify field.
- TechSales tests the key against Apify before saving it. A key the provider rejects is not stored; an accepted key is kept in an encrypted vault and never shown again.

Good to know
- Enrichment runs when you choose it in Prepare list; nothing is scraped automatically on upload.
- Private profiles and rows that come back empty are not charged.
- The Apify actors TechSales uses can be swapped by TechSales without any change on your side.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an Apify account?
- Only for job-change tracking and hiring signals, and if you prefer to pay Apify directly. Otherwise runs use TechSales credits.
- Does TechSales log into LinkedIn with my account for this?
- No. Data jobs run on Apify. Messaging on LinkedIn goes through HeyReach and the accounts you connected there.
- What does it cost?
- On your own token, Apify's own pricing. On TechSales credits, the cost is shown before a run. See Pricing.
